PYRENEES WOOLLEN FABRIC

CARING FOR WOOL…

Wool is a natural, living fibre. Its structure is made up of tiny scales that open and close depending on temperature and humidity.
This unique characteristic gives wool its self-cleaning properties: simply airing your garment away from direct sunlight allows the fibres to open and release any trapped impurities.
To restore the signature loft and softness of Pyrenean wool, simply brush your garment in the direction of the nap.
This will remove any pilling and leave your wool as good as new!
These two simple steps will ensure your garment remains in excellent condition and accompanies you for many years to come.

…AND A LITTLE EXTRA CARE

To further enhance the wool, once you have brushed and aired your garment, turn it inside out and gently steam it using an iron on the wool setting.
This will allow the Pyrenean fabric to reveal all its promise of softness and warmth.

SOLUTIONS AGAINST MOTHS

If you wear your woollen garment regularly, there’s no need to worry — moths dislike being disturbed and will not settle there.

However, as a precaution when storing your garment for a period of time:

  • Place the item in an airtight bag.

  • Add natural moth repellents such as true lavender, rosemary camphor, or Atlas cedarwood.

NEEM OIL

Extracted from the seeds of the neem tree, this oil is well known for its moth-repelling properties.
How to make your own neem oil spray?
Dilute 5 to 10 ml of pure neem oil in 90 ml of water. Spray the mixture inside your wardrobes and cupboards, then wipe dry with a cloth.
