Factory of fabrics from the Pyrenees

Wool possesses assets that make it a particularly prized material both in the housing field and the manufacture of clothing. Thick, insulating and warm, it is particularly appreciated for ranges of comfortable and pleasant to wear indoor clothes.

Fabric from the Pyrenees embodies both sturdiness and softness, tradition and modernity. It’s moreover at this crossroads where our craft business Val d’Arizes sits.

Nestled at the heart of the Hautes-Pyrénées in the small village of Cieutat, neighbour of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and Lourdes, for more than 40 years we have been making this fabric with recognised virtues that combines well-being, comfort and lightness.

Val d’Arizes is a family business that has been passed down three generations since it opened in the 1970’s.

Sheep’s wool jackets and dressing gowns are available for both men and women. Scarves, plaids, shawls, ponchos, capes and cardigans complete the range of our clothes in woollen fabric from the Pyrenees. All made in our sewing rooms.

Val d’Arizes is also the making of technical fabrics on Raschel looms combining knitting and weaving. We currently offer an outdoor range: “Camouflage”: nets, rifle socks, Tagelmusts.
